Global Solar Atlas provides a resume of solar energy potential and solar resources globally. It also provides an online photovoltaic power simulation tool.
The production of photovoltaic energy is simulated using time series of solar radiation and air temperature of several years and hours. Photovoltaic production is based on the start-up time of a photovoltaic installation, so long-term performance is not taken into account due to the degradation of photovoltaic modules.

- Medium commercial or industrial
- Large Installation ground-mounted
