A dia de hoy en la mayoria de los casos se utiliza la multiplexacion COFDM(Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lo que se consigue con la multiplexacion tiene  muchas ventajas, pero sobretodo una muy importante:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dado que el <strong>espectro radioelectrico es limitado<\/strong> y que cada dia hay mas aplicaciones y servicios que demandan servicios inhalambricos (Radio comercial, TV, Telefonia, WIFI, Enlaces, y un larguisimo etc&#8230;) tenemos que optimizar al maximo el espectro radioelectrico del cual disponemos, y ahi es donde entran de lleno las diferentes tecnologias de Multiplex&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cabe destacar que la multiplexacion No solo se utiliza en comunicaciones inhalambricas.
