GTM Research predice que, mientras los costes de la tecnolog\u00eda se desmoronan, el mercado fotovoltaico crecer\u00e1 este a\u00f1o un 36% y a\u00f1adir\u00e1 55.000 GW de potencia al mercado mundial.<\/p>\n<p>Las instalaciones marcan un salto importante sobre todo si se tiene en cuenta que en el ejercicio precedente, en el que las nuevas instalaciones apenas crecieron un\u00a0 2%. El nuevo registro esperado para este a\u00f1o, no obstante, se va a quedar obsoleto en breve, ya que el estudio de GTM Research vaticina para el 2020 un crecimiento de las nuevas instalaciones fotovoltaicas de 135.000 MW, una cantidad suficiente para abastecer a m\u00e1s de 20 millones de hogares. Seg\u00fan \u00a0los datos que maneja el estudio, en l\u00ednea con otros realizados anteriormente, <strong>desde 2009 los costes de la fotovoltaica han ca\u00eddo un 75%, mientras que la electricidad producida por los proyectos a gran escala cuesta menos de la mitad de lo que costaba hace apenas cinco a\u00f1os,<\/strong> seg\u00fan muestran las estad\u00edsticas de la industria.
